About X-Golf El Dorado Hills

X-Golf El Dorado Hills is the first franchise location in Northern California for X-Golf America and the 82nd location opened nationwide. X-Golf El Dorado Hills is locally owned and operated by a group of El Dorado Hills residents with a passion for golf and a love community. We are proud to bring this great entertainment venue to the greater Sacramento area.

X-Golf technology is the most comprehensive indoor golf tracking system available, giving players the ability to accurately replicate all golf shots, including short game. Located in the El Dorado Hills Town Center, the facility features 7 simulator bays, a bar and kitchen, and a large outdoor patio. The location will offer hourly bay rentals, memberships, lessons from experienced Golf Coaches, leagues, tournaments, and private events. Rain or shine, it’s always a comfortable 72 degrees at X-Golf!

F.A.Q.

Do you only have golf?

X-Golf is a golf themed venue. The simulators have game play options for both novice and experienced golfers. We also have a kitchen and bar with large lounge and an expansive outdoor patio for seasonal enjoyment. We hope to add more activities in the future.

Can I bring my own golf clubs?

YES! The simulator system is a very realistic golf experience. We encourage you to bring your own clubs so you can sharpen your game.

Can I use my own tees and golf balls?

No need, the simulator has its own tee built into the system…plus it collects and tees the balls automatically! No chasing balls or bending over to tee up for the next shot. The teeing system even remembers the preferred tee height for each player. We provide top quality golf balls with the proper markings to be detected by the high-speed cameras in our simulators. Distance, spin rate and feel will be very accurate.

What golf courses can I play?

We offer almost 50 golf courses from around the world (including Pebble Beach, Spyglass, and St. Andrews Old Course). We also offer an interactive practice range for you to sharpen your skills.

Do you offer gift cards?

Gift cards are great for the avid golfer. We will offer gift cards that can be redeemed for simulator time, food, beverage, and merchandise at our store. We will start selling gift cards when we are closer to opening in the Spring of 2023.

Do you have tournaments and leagues?

YES! X-League will be offered in seasonally in 10-12 weeks rounds. X-Leagues are offered to 3 person teams with one league night per week offered for Sunday through Wednesday between 7 pm and 10 pm. Your team will compete for league prizes, trophies, and a spot on our Wall of Fame! The X-Cup series is a series of 10 national tournaments throughout the year where you will compete with teams from the other 50 X-Golf locations around the country for major prizes.

Do you have club rental available?

We have high quality golf clubs available for adults and kids for a small rental fee.

Can I bring golf shoes?

Golf shoes with soft spikes only are allowed but tennis shoes work great on the artificial turf as well.

Are kids welcome?

YES! The kids are going to love it. The simulators have games and challenges for kids to enjoy. Children under 12 will need to be supervised by an adult. If you have older kids, let them play on their own while you enjoy our lounge and patio or one of the many great restaurants and bars the El Dorado Hills Town Center has to offer. We’ll take good care of them!

How long does it take to play 18 holes on an X Golf Simulator?

It takes around 1 hour to play a full 18-hole round for one player. Two players will require 2 hour and so on. Each simulator will accommodate up to six players. Remember, the simulators are booked by the hour and not by the number of players. For a large group, we recommend 30 minutes of practice time and 2 to 3 hours of game play.

What do you offer to eat and drink?

We will have an excellent selection of elevated pub fare to enjoy while you are playing a round of golf or enjoying our bar, lounge and expansive patio. We will offer a large beer and wine selection (and are working on adding a full liquor selection in the very near future.)
